In the foothills of the South Downs is Gaston Farm in Slindon. They are open from the end of March until just after Easter this year from 10-5pm to see the open lambing in the sheds and on the farmland.
Gaston Farm has had the farm open for a few years now and they are always very popular. They cater for all ages, group sizes and even welcome school parties.
There is plenty of free parking, picnic areas and fresh food from the cafe (plus toilets).
Gaston Farm has a long record of the price for admission (£6 – cash only and under 2’s are free) going to local charities – currently they are going to projects in Nepal and Burundi & Mongolia, Soup from Heaven etc. They have so far raised over £35k!!
It is always a good idea to wear wellies and not immaculate clothes especially if it has been raining.
It is a good-value farm experience for all the family and the money goes to a great cause – so give it a visit!
